Radiation Shielding

Several factors should be considered when radiation shielding is a requirement in a healthcare facility. Shielding should be continuous. The geometry should be such that a sufficient number of scatters occur between the radiation source and the area outside the barrier so the radiation leakage through any gap is acceptably low. Care with design is required at the boundaries between different materials such as a wall to window, or double entry doors.

We are a specialist contractor with a vast number of years and experience and who knows the best practices to be applied when the installation of shielding is required on low and medium-risk premises.
